To support their continued success, they are looking for a Vessel Operator to join their team in London. In this key role, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of the company’s fleet of vessels. Your duties will include coordinating vessel schedules, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and liaising with ship owners, agents, and port authorities to guarantee smooth operations. You will also oversee voyage planning, monitor vessel performance, and ensure timely delivery of cargo. As part of your responsibilities, you will work closely with various internal teams, including chartering and operations, to optimise the utilisation of vessels and ensure cost-effective operations.
 

To be considered for this position, you must have:
 

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in vessel operations or a similar role within the maritime industry.
     
  • Strong knowledge of vessel operations, port procedures, and maritime regulations.
     
  • Proven ability to manage multiple vessels and ensure efficient scheduling and coordination.
     
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
