Our client is a dynamic and growing shipping company that owns and manages 3rd party tankers, priding itself on their efficient operations through improving industry standards. By employing skilled professionals, who they then invest in to develop personnel careers they have won recognition as an industry leading employer. Due to winning contracts there is a need for a new Technical Assistant to join their team.
They are looking for a Technical Assistant to arrange and follow up the technical service orders for the technical department. You will also be tasked for servicing the nautical equipment while providing the necessary documents, sketches and drawings for all inquiries and orders. You should have a strong technical understanding as you will provide support for the purchase department during the holiday season.
Successful candidates must
- Be degree educated or have relevant sea time.
- Have good technical understanding.
- Computer literate.
- Speak fluent English.
- Be able to prepare fiscal budgets.Be aware of current PMS.
- Have the right to live and work in the U.K
