Our client is a prominent player in the international shipping industry, operating a modern fleet of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) carriers. Known for their commitment to safety, performance, and innovation, they maintain the highest standards across their global operations. As their fleet continues to grow, they are seeking an experienced Technical Superintendent to join their team in Copenhagen.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to take a hands-on role in the technical management of LPG vessels. The Technical Superintendent will be responsible for ensuring the mechanical and technical performance of the fleet, overseeing maintenance, dry dockings, compliance, and vessel inspections, while working closely with shipboard teams and internal stakeholders to ensure vessels remain safe, efficient, and operationally ready.
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will have:
- Previous sailing experience as a Chief Engineer on LPG vessels
- At least 1 year of experience in a shore-based role as a Technical Superintendent working with LPG carriers
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English (written and spoken)
- A thorough understanding of technical operations, industry standards, and regulatory compliance
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
