Consortio is glad to be continuing our partnering with one of the shipping industry’s most recognized and respected brands in the Gas shipping industry. With a commitment to growing and modernizing their fleet and operations, our client, based in London, is now looking for a motivated Technical Assistant to join the team and provide administrative support to the Technical Department.

 

As a Technical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of the Technical Department. Your responsibilities will include providing comprehensive administrative support, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date, and assisting in various technical projects and initiatives. You will be expected to apply sound commercial judgment, maintain strong interpersonal relationships across all levels of the business, and exhibit excellent attention to detail. This role requires the ability to self-motivate and prioritize conflicting demands within tight timelines.

 

To be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:

  • Previous office/administrative experience within a ship management company is necessary.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to apply sound commercial judgment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate and maintain strong relationships with all levels of the business.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify and focus on relevant information.
  • Ability to self-motivate and prioritize conflicting demands against short timelines.
