Our client is a dynamic and independent shipbroking company with a solid track record in the global tanker market. Based in Houston and active across major international trading hubs, they focus on both clean and dirty petroleum products, delivering bespoke chartering solutions to a diverse portfolio of clients. Renowned for their market expertise, entrepreneurial mindset, and commitment to long-term partnerships, the company offers a supportive environment where performance and initiative are highly valued.

As part of their continued expansion, our client is looking to hire an experienced Tanker Broker to join their Houston office. This position will focus on Clean Petroleum Products (CPP) and is suited to a commercially minded individual with strong market connections and a passion for delivering results. You will be responsible for driving cargo opportunities, matching vessels, and closing deals that support the company’s continued growth in the CPP space.

Key Requirements for the role:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in tanker broking, with a strong focus on CPP cargoes.

  • A network of established cargo contacts and industry relationships.

  • Proven ability to negotiate and manage chartering deals from start to finish.

  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.

  • Must have authorization to work in the United States.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a respected and forward-thinking broking firm in Houston. The successful candidate will benefit from a collaborative team, career progression potential, and a competitive salary with performance-based incentives.
