We are currently seeking a skilled Superyacht Bunker Trader for this prestigious firm based in beautiful Monaco. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a background in yacht agency and a passion for the superyacht industry.
Responsibilities:
- Execute bunker fuel transactions for luxury yachts, ensuring timely delivery and competitive pricing.
- Monitor global fuel markets and industry trends to make informed trading decisions.
- Build and maintain relationships with superyacht owners, captains, and yacht agents to understand their fuel requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Negotiate terms and prices with suppliers and clients to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Handle all necessary documentation related to bunker fuel transactions, including contracts, invoices, and regulatory compliance.
- Manage and mitigate trading risks, including credit risk, market risk, and operational risk.
- Work closely with internal teams, including operations, finance, and legal, to ensure smooth execution of transactions.
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a yacht agent is essential, with a deep understanding of the superyacht industry and its unique requirements.
- Proven experience in bunker fuel trading or related commodities trading is preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and make data-driven decisions.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English. Additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of the team.
- High ethical standards and integrity in all business dealings.
