Our client is looking for soemone to join a vibrant and expanding international shipping practice, catering to a diverse clientele including owners, charterers, marine insurers, P&I and Defence clubs, traders, salvors, and shipbuilders.
They offer an attractive compensation package to qualified candidates. Specializing in high-end shipping, shipbuilding, commodities litigation, and general commercial litigation, alongside various wet shipping tasks, they have a track record of notable successes in reported High Court decisions and arbitrations over the past year.
They are currently seeking Associate Solicitors to join their team. Operating in a friendly, collaborative, and driven environment, free from large-firm politics and rigid targets, you'll be based in the City office with the option for flexible remote work.

Ideal candidates will possess:
- Exceptional academic credentials and a proactive mindset
- Strong technical expertise in disputes resolution, with experience in litigation in the Commercial Court and/or under LMAA, LCIA, and similar arbitration rules
- Minimum of 2+ years' experience in a shipping firm, or 5+ years for senior associates, possibly including in-house experience
- Demonstrated potential for client development depending on seniority
- Ambition, self-motivation, and diligence
- Willingness to travel, present, and participate in conferences
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team or autonomously, with excellent communication skills
- Capability to lead, motivate, train, and mentor junior staff members
