Senior Structural Designer

About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Structural Designer to support projects involving the design and development of structural and outfitting drawings, with a focus on ships, mega yachts, and navy units. You will be responsible for creating 2D and 3D models, developing classification drawings, and working closely with clients, classification societies, and internal teams. The role may also involve leading project teams and supporting detail and production engineering.
Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of experience in a similar structural design role, preferably in the marine industry
- Proficiency in CAD systems, including Microstation and AutoCAD; knowledge of NAPA Steel is a plus
- Deep understanding of ship structures, from basic to detailed design phases
- Strong grasp of relevant classification requirements and ability to interface with various disciplines
- Excellent communication, coordination, and presentation skills
- Diploma in Nautical Studies or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Good command of technical English and Italian
