Our client, a renowned global provider of professional services and innovative technology solutions for enhancing the efficiency of the insurance industry, has a rich history dating back to 1884. Presently operating in over 120 locations spanning across 30 countries in Europe, the Americas, Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and Africa, they are seeking an experienced full-time marine surveyor to join a dynamic two-person team in China. The primary focus of this role will involve conducting insurance casualty and loss prevention inspections.

- Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by management, ensuring tasks are completed within your capabilities and the scope of your role.
Technical Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate will possess a Master Mariner or Chief Engineer's Certificate of Competency (COC).
- Previous experience as a Superintendent, Class Surveyor, or Shipyard personnel will be advantageous.
- Proficiency in conducting inspections related to Hull & Machinery (H&M), Protection & Indemnity (P&I), Marine Warranty Surveys (MWS), and pre-purchase inspections.
- Fluency in Chinese is preferred, along with the ability to travel extensively within China and neighboring countries.
- Capability to produce detailed reports in both English and Chinese.Occasional overseas travel or stationing at other Asia Pacific (APAC) offices may be required.
