Our client are an internationally operating shipping company with offices in four countries and more than 2500 employees on their oceangoing and cruise vessels. Their fleet of 39 luxury Cruise vessels are expanding and they are constantly on the move looking for new opportunities. They offer the highest possible level of quality cruises all the way from design to crew. Due to expansion and their ambitious plans, they are currently in the process of expanding their ocean and river vessel teams.
 

The role is for a QHSSE Manager to join their ocean team and you will be responsible for the implementation and monitoring of all safety systems. Furthermore, you will be expected to advise on any future company regulations and international statutory requirements. You will perform onboard audits and inspections and also be expected to create any related reports. In addition to this you will also be recognised as the DPA for your assigned vessels and will be part of the emergency response team.
 

In order to be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
 

  • Have 2 + years’ experience as a QHSSE Manager or Master
     
  • Have work experience working as a DPA or CSO
     
  • Have strong knowledge of legislation covering quality, safety, and environmental standards
     
  • Fluent in the English language (both verbal and written)
