We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee both new build and refit/repair projects. This role encompasses the full project lifecycle, from proposal development through to the final delivery and handover of completed vessels. The successful candidate will act as a key liaison with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. This is an exciting opportunity to work on diverse and technically challenging projects in a collaborative and innovative environment.
Key Requirements
- Proven ability to liaise effectively with customers, statutory authorities, surveyors, suppliers, sub-contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Strong resource management skills to ensure project completion on time and within budget while maintaining safety and quality standards.
- Competence in progress monitoring, reporting, and managing tests and trials.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project, with excellent communication skills.
- A background in small craft design and construction, either through practical production experience or a relevant degree qualification in marine engineering or naval architecture.
