Project Manager

Our client is one of the world’s largest independent owners and operators of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) carriers, providing LNG and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) services. With a diverse fleet of 90 vessels and 2500 shore and sea staff all over the globe, they are an industry leader in the ever-changing gas sector.
 

Due to expansion and the creation of new projects, they are on the lookout for an experienced Project Manager to oversee their upcoming new build, dry dock, and conversion projects. The ideal candidate will come from a technical background and will be responsible for providing the general management of technical projects with a focus on longer term strategies and planning. Furthermore, they will be expected to treat safety and environmental compliance with the highest priority and drive operational leadership. In addition to this, they will need to lead and manage all project resources and ensure phases are delivered on time and within budget.
 

To be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:
 

• Have a degree in Naval Architecture or Engineering.
   
• Have experience in project management for shipping projects.
   
• Have new build or yard experience.
   
• Have experience with LNG with knowledge of technical ship operations.
   
• Experience with FSRU would be seen as an advantage.
   
• Be fluent in English – both written and verbal.
