We're thrilled to collaborate with a leading provider of mooring, foundation, and subsea services in the offshore energy sector. Renowned for their unwavering commitment to safety, innovation, and sustainability, they operate globally to deliver integrated solutions that elevate the reliability and efficiency of offshore projects. With expansion initiatives underway and a solid presence in Aberdeen, they're currently seeking to add a Mooring Surveyor to their dedicated team on a full-time permanent basis.

 

You'll be at the forefront of offshore operations, ensuring seamless mobilization and demobilization of survey equipment on various vessels, meticulous interface, calibration, and quality control of positioning survey sensors, and operation of online software during operations on a diverse fleet of semi-submersible platform support vessels. You'll establish and maintain a comprehensive vessel information database, process survey data to generate as-built charts and final reports, conduct Dimensional Control Surveys of platforms, and collaborate on the development of in-house survey procedures and software. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our surveying activities, contributing significantly to the success of offshore projects.

 

Qualifications:

  • Essential qualifications include a degree in Marine Science, Geomatics, Hydrography Discipline, or relevant experience.
  • You possess a solid understanding of engineering drawings, processes, and procedures, coupled with offshore experience in Positioning and Inspection Sensors.
  • While experience in Vessel and ROV Mobilizations and installation of positioning and inspection sensors is preferred, it's not essential.
  • Familiarity with surface/subsea positioning, acoustic communications, and photogrammetry is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, coupled with exceptional interpersonal abilities and attention to detail.
  • You thrive in both independent and collaborative settings, demonstrating a proactive and accountable approach to your work.
  • Adaptable and creative, you're adept at navigating and overcoming challenges, driving innovative solutions.
  • Highly organized with proven ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments, maintaining a positive and proactive attitude throughout.
