We are looking for a Marine Superintendent, who will be responsible for: promoting the implementation and ensuring the application of management policies and procedures relating to safety, security, environment and nautical on board the fleet and ensuring the adoption and use of the related management programs.
Propose updates and revisions to safety manuals and procedures to the Safety & Nautical Operations Manager;
Ensure that training and information requirements are met for all personnel on board to ensure the correct application of the rules and procedures;
Carry out first level inspection visits to verify the application of the relevant procedures;Report any needs regarding safety, security, environment, deck and bridge instruments, equipment and systems, submitting them to the Safety & Nautical Operations Manager;Implement corrective actions found by government visits,
internal and external audits and ship inspections, as required by the company's non-conformity management procedure;Ensure that assigned vessels are correctly informed of any updated, new or repealed regulations regarding safety, security, environment and nautical matters.
REQUIREMENTS:
Qualification as First Officer and/or Engineer,
or Degree in Nautical and Aeronautical Sciences or Naval Engineering;
Previous experience of at least 3 years in the role;
Good knowledge of the English language (B2);
Good knowledge of the use of the Office package.
