Our client is a leading global shipping company with a strong presence in the tanker sector. Due to continued expansion, they are seeking an experienced Marine Superintendent to join their team in Indonesia. In this important role, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operation of the company’s tanker vessels. Your main responsibilities will include ensuring the proper execution of navigation operations, managing cargo operations, and maintaining the highest safety standards. You will work closely with onboard teams to ensure the vessels comply with all relevant maritime regulations and are operating at peak performance, while also addressing safety-related issues and implementing best practices.
 

To be considered for this role, you must:
 

  • Have at least 2 years’ experience as a Marine Superintendent or in a similar role within the tanker industry.
     
  • Proven experience in managing navigation, cargo operations, and safety on tanker vessels.
     
  • Strong knowledge of maritime safety regulations, including SOLAS, MARPOL, and the ISM Code.
     
  • Ability to monitor and manage the safe and efficient loading, stowage, and discharge of cargo.
     
  • Be fluent in English, both written and verbal.
