Consortio is proudly partnering one of the industry’s most exciting businesses that has taken the bunkering world by storm in recent years. With growth that has seen the recent opening of 5 new global offices, our client is now focused on driving development in the Asian market with the addition of an experienced, Senior Bunker Trader in Singapore.
With each office growing in terms of team size and market presence, it is essential to stress that account management / ownership is at the forefront of how our client has been so successful and able to commit to its targeted expansion plans with such drive. Moreover and in tandem with a forward-thinking, ‘modern mentality’ that has seen profits and volumes double across the past 4 years, the company remains committed to pouring its exponential resource into traders that are equally as ambitious to grow.
To be eligible for this role, you will:
- Have 4+ years of bunker sales experience (essential).
- Be fluent in English and Mandarin (essential).
- Have acquired a university degree, preferably in Business.
- Have an outstanding network of clients in Asia, where he/she can sell based on personal
- relationships and ensure continued patronage from both customers and local suppliers.
- Has an excellent relationship management and strong negotiation skills to secure competitive deals.
- Can handle people from different backgrounds and cultures and regards cold calling as a part of the working day.
- Is a goal-oriented individual and is hungry for success.
- Is a team player with the strong ambition and self-drive, commercial acumen and can manage multiple tasks in the fast-paced environment.
- Has keen interest in the industry and is able to carry out analysis and monitor demands around the world
