Consortio have partnered with a very well-known marine engineering company based on the South Coast of England. This company has over 80 years’ experience within the marine engineering sector and pride themselves on always delivering the highest level of service to their clients and customers. They ensure that all of their customers are getting the most from their vessels by carrying out repairs, overhauls, services and diagnostic work on vessels. Due to a large demand they are looking for new Marine Engineers to join their team.

 

As a Marine Engineer you will independently work on carrying out diagnostic work on Marine Engines and then carry out complete repairs on them. The vessels you will be working on include yachts and also commercial vessels. You will also be regularly carrying out services on customers engines to ensure they are kept in great condition. You will need experience in carrying out engine and transmission overhauls to a very high standard.

 

To be eligible for this role you will need:

  • Excellent diagnostic capabilities (electrics, engine management systems and general boat systems).
  • Have completed a Marine Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent degree.
  • Be able to work independently.Have experience of systems and equipment on vessels up to 40m.
  • Have the right to live and work in the UK.
