Due to their continued success they are looking for a Junior Maritime Lawyer to join the team in Monaco.
As a Junior Maritime Lawyer you will be involved in contentious and non-contentious work that helps you to grow your knowledge of the shipping industry and also offers the opportunity to travel worldwide. As a junior team member, you will be involved in some shipping and trading work, liaising daily with our trading, operations and finance desks. You will also assist our Compliance team with KYCs and trade compliance checks.
To be eligible for this role you need to:

Be a qualified lawyer or a graduate

MSs in Shipping with 1 -2 years relevant qualifications/work experience in a law firm specialising in shipping, in-house legal department of a shipping company, or P&I Club.

Have solid academic background focused on Maritime Law.

Be fluent in English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of Greek language is a plus.

Be familiar with shipping documentation – charterparties, bills of lading

Have a right to live and work in the EU.
