Conosrtio has partnered with an Italian Shipbuilding and Design house who are looking for a Senior Project Manager to start immediately. Our client has built a formidable and global reputation for designing and constructing vessels with a focus on highspeed patrol and defence boats. They have, in their long history, launched close to 1000 vessels which can be found sailing throughout Europe and the Mediterranean.
 

In this role as Junior Naval Architect, you will be expected to contribute to conceptual ship design drawings, as well as carrying structural and stability assessments alongside the rest of the Naval Architecture team. As part of this growing team, you would be expected to assist in the Hydrodynamic testing of vessels, as well assisting in the design of some of the semi-mechanical parts of the ship. This could be designing anchoring arrangements or mooring systems.
 

The best candidates for this position will need:
 

  • A degree in Naval Architecture
  •  
  • 2-5 years' experience in Naval Architecture
  •  
  • A working knowledge of Autodesk and Rhino software packages
  •  
  • Fluent English communication – both written and spoken
  •  
  • Experience in Defence and Naval design
  •  
  • To be able to start immediately
