Our client is an established ship management company and provides holistic services and consultancy that is consistently evolving to meet the demand of the shipping industry. They have an industry presence of over 40 years providing the highest quality professional management services. They operate in a number of different markets within the shipping and maritime industry, however, have recently acquired a couple of new vessels within the cruise market.
The role is for an Itinerary Manager, and you will be acting as the point of contact for the Itinerary department of the Marine & Port Operations team. You will be responsible for ensuring itineraries are planned in accordance with best practise, international law, and local regulation. Furthermore, you will be expected to maintain a database of port costs and risk assessments for each vessel class as well as overseeing the payment of associated invoices.
In order to be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:
- Educated in Nautical Science / Economics / Tourism or similar.
- Sailed as a nautical officer on board Cruise Vessels.
- Have full knowledge of MXP Planning Systems.
- Fluent in English.
