HSEQ Superintendent

Our client is one of the world’s largest independent owners and operators of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) carriers, providing LNG and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) services. With a diverse fleet of 90 vessels and 2500 shore and sea staff all over the globe, they are an industry leader in the ever-changing gas sector.
 

Due to the recent expansion of their fleet, they are on the lookout for a HSEQ Superintendent for to work with their fleet of LNG Vessels. In this role you will be expected to treat health, safety, security, and environment as a top priority. Furthermore, you will need to function as the designated person ashore (DPA) when required. In addition to this you will monitor HSEQ compliance with external management systems including ISO 9001 and 14001. Finally, you will have to work collaboratively will he marine, technical, and operational departments to ensure compliance is throughout the organisation.
 

To be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:
 

• Have Senior sailing experience on Oil/Chemical and Gas Carriers.
   
• Hold a COC2 or higher.
   
• Have a strong maritime investigation and HSEQ background.
   
• Have strong analytical, problem solving and time management skills.
   
• Be fluent in English – both written and verbal.
