Consortio are proud to be working with a new maritime company in search of a highly qualified Fleet Manager. The company is renowned for its comprehensive ship management and marine services, leveraging state-of-the-art technologies and innovative data solutions to achieve optimal outcomes. By integrating advanced systems and cutting-edge approaches, they ensure efficient operations and superior performance for clients in the maritime industry.

The Fleet Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of a fleet comprising 4 container ships. Responsibilities include planning and organizing activities, implementing and maintaining the Company’s Management System, monitoring crew performance, overseeing daily fleet operations, and providing guidance to departmental staff. Additionally, the Fleet Manager will represent the department in the Company’s Emergency Response Team and execute tasks assigned by senior management.

Qualifications needed for the role:

• Experience as a Technical Superintendent and sailing in a senior rank.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Ideally an Egyptian national.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
• Good command of the English language.
• Fully conversant with applicable international and national rules and regulations.

The company offers a highly competitive salary, performance-based bonus, and a 10% commission on any new clients brought in by the Fleet Manager. They are seeking to fill this position by September.
