Title: Estimator/Senior Estimator

My Client is looking to recruit 2 Estimators/Senior Estimators for their existing construction team. The Successful candidates will be reporting to the preconstruction director and working alongside a successful division in their business. This division of the business is rapidly expanding and is offering a clear route of progression to become a manging estimator then to Pre construction director.

Requirements:

Several years of proven work winning experience with a Main Contractor    delivering a range of projects from £2m to £25mThe ability to adapt to a range of procurement routes i.e., traditional BQ,    specification and drawings, two stage, some design and build.Excellent oral and written communication skills which enable an Estimator to effectively liaise with clients, designers, consultants, other departments within the organization, supply chain, and also report directly to the senior management.Familiarity with the Conquest Estimating software package, and be conversant with Microsoft Office Word and ExcelParticular attention to detail, good management skills, and sound mathematical and numeracy skills, with the ability to solve problems analytically.Showing creativity and resourcefulness in order to gain the best pricing from subcontractorsMaintaining and updating correct and accurate records of tendersEnsuring that estimating procedures are strictly followed in the production of tendersActing as bid manager when and where required depending on the value and complexity of the tenderYou will need experience in the Education, Commercial, Community, Leisure and the Film & TV sectors, working for a number of repeat business clients.
