Our client is one of the world’s largest independent owners and operators of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) carriers, providing LNG and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) services. With a diverse fleet of 90 vessels and 2500 shore and sea staff all over the globe, they are an industry leader in the ever-changing gas sector.
Due to excellent company performance, they are on the lookout for an Electrical, Instrumentation and Automation (EIA) Manager. In this role you will be responsible for providing EIA support and Navcom issues for all your assigned vessels. Furthermore, you will assist the management team to ensure all EIA matters and functions ensure operational safety, cost effectiveness and be pollution free. In addition to this you will be expected to attend vessels for Dry Docking, projects and sea/gas trials. Finally, you will treat health and safety in the highest regard and be expected to ensure that electrical systems on vessels and operating in a safe manner.
To be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:
- Sailing experience as an ETO or Electrical Engineer on LNG Carriers or Tankers.
- Experience as an Electrical superintendent is preferred but not essential.
- Education and Training as an Electrical Engineer.
- Knowledge of the LNG industry.
- Excellent communication skills and be fluent in English – both written and verbal.
