Our client is a large international shipping business who have ships such as LNG, chemical and bulk. They have offices in nearly every core shipping country in the world and with their international presence they are considered a highly sought after business to work for. Furthermore, they are making conscious efforts and contributions in renewable and green fuel to promote a sustainable future for the maritime and shipping industry.

 

Due to recent expansion, they are on the lookout for a Commercial Associate to work in their LNG department. You will be responsible for the asset management of your assigned LNG carriers and ensure effective communication and co-ordination with Charter Parties, Shareholders, Technical Manager and internal support teams. Furthermore, you will expect to assist with claim handling and dispute resolution while providing monthly, quarterly and annual business reports. In addition to this you will act as an Owners Representative for the fleet of LNG Carriers on long term charter.
 

To be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:
 

  • Have a degree in maritime operations / business / law.
     
  • Have knowledge and experience in commercial shipping operations.
     
  • Have good cultural awareness with the ability to engage with various stakeholders.
     
  • Be fluent in English – both written and verbal.
     
  • Have the right to live and work in the UK.
