Consortio have exclusively partnered with an Oman based Shipping company who are currently active in the Oil & Gas industry. They are a company that are looking to expand in 2024 and build out their core operations team. As a result, they are currently on the lookout for a Trading Operations Manager in their offices in Oman.
The role is for a Claim Analyst, and you will be responsible for preparing, analysing, and reviewing a variety of claims from shipowners and counterparties to improve profit and minimise loss for the company. Furthermore, you will be responsible for your assigned vessels throughout the entire journey from submission of claims till having them settled. In addition to this you will need to build bonds with your customers and negotiate every item to find creative ways to minimize outstanding debts.
To be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:
- Have a university degree in Shipping or another related field.
- Understand basic shipping terms, claims or operations is an asset.
- Experience in a similar position.Fluency in English.
