As part of their ongoing growth, they are now looking to hire a Chief Engineer to join their team in the UK. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the technical management of tug vessels, ensuring optimal vessel performance, maintenance, and compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements. The Chief Engineer will play a key role in overseeing the vessel's operations and working alongside senior management to implement strategies for safe and efficient operations.
 

The ideal candidate will possess:
 

  • A valid Chief Engineer license (STCW compliant).
     
  • Significant experience in a similar role, ideally working with tug vessels.
     
  • Strong technical knowledge of marine systems, machinery, and safety protocols.
     
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
     
  • The Right to Work (RTW) in the UK.
