To support their ongoing expansion, they are looking for an experienced Dry Cargo Broker to join their team in London. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing and negotiating dry cargo transactions, developing new business opportunities, and nurturing strong relationships with both clients and vessel operators. You will play a key part in the entire broking process, from identifying and analysing market trends to securing deals and ensuring their successful execution. Additionally, you will utilise your industry knowledge and network to provide valuable commercial insights and help the company maintain a competitive edge in the market.
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in dry cargo broking or a similar position within the maritime industry.
- A strong understanding of the dry cargo market, including freight rates, vessel operations, and key trade routes.
- Proven success in building and maintaining client relationships, with a focus on securing new business opportunities.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to finalise deals efficiently.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
